We are commissioned by government to run our service and receive funding of approximately 55% of the running costs, for the remainder we rely on the generous support of our community.

Hour to Empower

By donating an hour of your pay during domestic abuse awareness month, you will be helping Safer to continue the much-needed support it offers to domestic abuse victims and their children in Guernsey.

Fundraising & Donations

Every contribution helps. Organise a fundraising event, donate to our wish list for our refuge or make a one time or recurring financial donation. Your support directly funds our life-changing services.

Fundraising ideas

There are many ways in which to fund raise from cake sales to marathons from team participation to going it alone. We have put together some fund raising ideas but are happy to chat through any ideas you may have and will happily share your event/challenge on our social media.

Host a dinner party with raffle prizes or why not try your very own “come dine with me” competition.
Have a cake sale at work or make it more competitive with different departments competing in your own “Great British Bake Off”.
Host an afternoon tea.
Car Wash.
Photo competition - Using your phones why not have an amateur photo contest at work.
